You’re Responsibility as a Landlord or Property Manager
Landlords and Property Managers must ensure that their property or their client’s property is fully compliant with the Building Code of Australia section 3.7.2.3 and Australian Standards 3786 – 1993
Sydney Smoke Alarms takes away the hassle of maintaining your smoke detectors, and ensures your property is fully compliant
Sydney Smoke Alarms offers a service and maintenance plan that will handle the installation, testing, commissioning and certification of smoke alarms so that you can be totally confident your property, or your clients property is safe and compliant.
For a set cost of $99 per year your service plan will cover the following
1. We will attend the property to ensure your smoke alarm is fully compliant with
Australian Standards
2. Clean and test smoke alarms
3. Battery testing and replacing
4. Conduct a Photoelectric and ionization sensitivity test
5. Attend as many service visits as required throughout the annual subscription period
6. Confirm and report on the correct location and quantity of smoke detectors
7. Complete a certificate of compliance
8. Detailed inspection and compliance report
9. Attend the property as many times in that year for a tenancy change or renewal
10. Your property will be monitored on our database to ensure your annual testing
& commissioning is fully compliant and tested every year

* This price is valid for smoke alarms that are installed whilst conducting the annual inspection of the property
